National Expansion Accelerates for Premium Condiment Brand Tabañero, a South Florida-based sauce maker, has significantly expanded its distribution footprint across travel, retail, and foodservice channels. The brand's portfolio of 24 products is now available in all Buc-ee's Travel Center locations across 13 states, including Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. "Buc-ee's has become more than a convenience store—it's a destination," said Traci Mishner, Vice President of Marketing & Trade Operations for Tabañero. "We're excited to introduce Tabañero to a highly engaged customer base that actively seeks out new products and brands. This launch is another important step in our mission to make Tabañero more accessible to consumers wherever they shop, travel and dine." The Buc-ee's rollout follows significant retail gains in the Southeast. Tabañero recently expanded into more than 1,100 Food Lion locations and over 250 Harris Teeter stores throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, and neighboring markets. The brand now operates in more than 8,500 retail locations nationwide.

Travel and Foodservice Growth Beyond traditional retail, Tabañero has partnered with Carnival Cruise Line and Princess Cruises, making its products available across all sailings for both lines. The cruise partnerships expose the brand to millions of annual travelers. The company's momentum extends into new product categories. Tabañero launched its first-ever BBQ sauce collection—a seven-flavor lineup made with clean ingredients and less sugar than many traditional BBQ sauces. The collection is rolling out to all 299 Hy-Vee stores and select retailers nationwide.

Manufacturing and Quality Standards Tabañero has invested in South Florida manufacturing capabilities and recently achieved a 98% score on its Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification audit, signaling continued focus on food safety and production scaling.

Why It Matters

Tabañero's multi-channel expansion strategy—simultaneously securing shelf space in grocery, travel retail, and foodservice—reflects broader consumer demand for premium condiments with clean-label credentials. The brand's ability to scale production while maintaining SQF certification standards suggests operators can expect consistent product availability as distribution continues to grow.
