Prairie Farms is rolling out two seasonal flavored milks in newly designed limited-edition quart cartons, with Pumpkin Spice and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup varieties arriving at participating retailers in early September. Each carton features illustrated Trick-or-Treat characters: Pumpkin Spice showcases a jack-o'-lantern sipping a pumpkin-spice drink, while Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup is wrapped like a friendly mummy. The packaging uses warm fall colors and festive scenes unified by a Prairie Farms Holiday Collection banner to improve visibility in the dairy aisle. "The new cartons are every bit as fun as the flavors inside," said Ryan Murphy, vice president of marketing at Prairie Farms. "We wanted packaging that would capture the season's excitement and stand out in the dairy case. Pumpkin spice and chocolate peanut butter are flavors people look forward to, and these playful designs give shoppers another reason to pick them up while they're available." Pumpkin Spice Milk delivers warm, familiar fall flavors, while Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Milk combines rich chocolate with peanut butter taste. Both can be consumed cold, paired with snacks, or used in seasonal drinks and desserts. Both flavors will be available for a limited time while supplies last, with product selection and availability varying by market and retailer.
Why It Matters
Seasonal dairy innovation remains a key driver of retail foot traffic and incremental sales during high-consumption periods. Limited-edition packaging and novelty flavors encourage repeat purchasing and social sharing, particularly among consumers seeking premium or nostalgic products during fall and holiday seasons.
