Exactly 1,948 bundles will drop exclusively on TikTok Shop between June 29 and July 1, with daily quantities announced on Mountain Dew's Instagram Stories at noon ET. Each bundle features the full 1948 history printed on the label, recreating the original design that launched the citrus drink. "Mountain Dew has been Tasting Great Since '48, a bold citrus drink created by two brothers in the hills of Tennessee and unlike anything else on shelves," the brand stated. The campaign ties the brand's founding story to its current moment as the country approaches its 250th anniversary. To support the launch, Mountain Dew released digital creative this spring depicting a time-traveling journey back to 1948 Tennessee, grounding the commemorative can release in the brand's origin story.
