New Shapes Target Summer Entertaining Monte's Fine Foods is introducing three new artisanal pasta shapes designed for summer gatherings and entertaining. The July 9 launch marks an expansion of the 120-year-old Italian-American brand's core pasta line. The new shapes—Bozzolo, Stella, and Conchiglia—are made with two ingredients: organic durum semolina and water. All three are vegan and non-GMO.
Summer-Focused Positioning The collection draws inspiration from leisurely Italian summer dining traditions and communal table culture. According to the company, the shapes are designed for "casual weeknight meals to memorable Sunday dinners," whether served at backyard gatherings, beach picnics, or al fresco dinners.
Merchandise Tie-In Monte's is simultaneously launching a limited-edition Pasta Beach merchandise collection inspired by vintage Italian beach culture. The line includes crewnecks, tote bags, hats, and other items.
Why It Matters
With premiumized pasta expanding across retail shelves, Monte's entry into new shapes and direct-to-consumer merchandise reflects broader brand diversification trends among heritage pasta makers seeking to deepen customer engagement beyond the grocery aisle.
