Whole Muscle Meets Guinness Heritage Sidari Artisan Brands has launched Guinness Steak Cuts, a meat snack built around the pairing of whole-muscle beef with the iconic Irish stout. The product uses eye-of-round steak—never ground or formed—marinated with Guinness 0 and finished through a proprietary slow-cook process designed to deliver a tender, pull-apart bite. The three flavors—Original, Coffee, and Chocolate—were reverse-engineered around how each tastes alongside an actual pint, though the products are designed to stand alone out of the bag.

From Steakhouse to Snack The brand's positioning draws from steakhouse and pub culture rather than the traditional jerky category. According to the company, "meat snacking deserved the same craft treatment that's elevated charcuterie, cheese, and chocolate over the last decade." Guinness Steak Cuts is priced at snack levels while carrying 267 years of Guinness brand heritage in its formulation.

Why It Matters

The entry signals continued premiumization in the meat snacking space, where whole-muscle products and flavor-forward pairing strategies continue to compete with commodity jerky. The collaboration between a heritage beverage brand and an artisan meat producer also illustrates how F&B companies are cross-leveraging audience overlap in the better-for-you snacking segment.
