Premium Cookie Line Draws on Classic Dessert Flavors The Graceful Cookie Co.'s Strawberry Milkshake Cookie has won the "Most Innovative New Product Award" in the baked goods category at the 2026 Sweets & Snacks Expo, competing against 500 other submissions. Based in Vallejo, California, the company offers a line of premium cookies inspired by nostalgic desserts, including Lemon Cheesecake and Blueberry Pie varieties. Chef David Dodson, the baker and owner, formulates preservative-free recipes in small batches using real, high-quality ingredients such as butter and cage-free eggs. The cookies sit somewhere between soft-baked and cookie dough on the texture spectrum. Dodson trained at the Culinary Institute of America and holds an MBA. "We want to spread joy the best way we know how, with simply the best cookies we can make," he says. "We know how nostalgic cookies in particular can be for people of all ages, so it was really important to us to deliver that authentic, positive sense-memory from childhood of the perfect cookie but also have fun with the flavors. We're really proud of what we've been able to create using clean ingredients and never compromising on quality."

Foodservice and Retail Options The Graceful Cookie Co. serves retail, bulk, and foodservice channels through multiple formats: clamshells, individually wrapped units, bulk packs, frozen dough, and custom collaborations with chefs and signature events. The company also produces traditional flavors such as Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chip.

Why It Matters

Operators seeking differentiated cookie programs—whether for retail display, dessert programs, or wholesale partnerships—have a new option designed with premium ingredients and nostalgic appeal. The award recognition signals market validation for the nostalgic dessert-as-cookie category.
