Chef Boyardee will serve as primary sponsor of the No. 47 Chevrolet driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway this month, showcasing two newly launched product lines on the car's paint scheme. The sponsorship marks the first time Chef Boyardee has held primary sponsor status during NASCAR Cup Series playoff racing. Earlier in the 2026 season, the brand sponsored the No. 47 at the Daytona 500, Talladega, and the NASCAR Clash.

New Product Spotlight The Bristol race will feature Chef Boyardee Protein, which launched last month and delivers 25+ grams of protein per can across fan-favorite varieties, and Chef Boyardee Skillet Meals, launched this spring as a convenient meal solution using Italian-inspired flavors. "We can't wait to get our new Chef Boyardee paint scheme under the lights at Bristol. We look forward to giving Ricky a ravioli shower in victory lane, or maybe spaghetti and meatballs, we will just see have to see how the night goes," said Dan Anglemyer, COO & CMO at Hometown Food Company. "Thanks and a big shout out to our fans for supporting Ricky and the 47 team. We hope you pick up our new products at local grocery stores. Check out our paint job for a hint on where to find them!"

Extended Partnership Bristol extends a partnership between Chef Boyardee's parent company Hometown Food Company and KHI Management/Hyak Motorsports. The relationship has been extended through 2028, with Chef Boyardee serving as primary sponsor for six NASCAR Cup Series races annually, including marquee events such as the Daytona 500 and Talladega. The sponsorships underscore Hometown Food Company's broader investment in the Chef Boyardee brand through expanded marketing, consumer engagement, and product innovation. Bristol Motor Speedway has historically been a strong performing track for Stenhouse Jr., making the sponsorship timing strategic for brand exposure.

Why It Matters

For foodservice and CPG operators, the announcement signals Hometown Food Company's confidence in Chef Boyardee's newer protein and skillet meal lines as category-growth drivers. NASCAR sponsorships at marquee venues offer significant reach into family-oriented audiences during high-viewership events—a key demographic for shelf-stable prepared meals and proteins.
