Family-owned SANY Nutrition Group is making its U.S. retail debut at Walmart with the Beyond Resilience Protein Crunch Bar, a caramel-chocolate snack bar that delivers 15 grams of protein per two 40-gram servings. The Jonesboro, Arkansas manufacturer is simultaneously launching direct-to-consumer sales at b-resilience.com, with additional retail expansion signaled for 2026 and beyond.

The brand's Walmart entry comes with an intentional planogram decision: placement in the bakery section rather than the traditional protein-bar aisle. That adjacency play positions Beyond Resilience against impulse-purchase snack occasions rather than the crowded better-for-you nutrition set, where established national brands such as Clif, RXBAR, and Quest compete on deep TDP across mass, club, and grocery channels. By staking out the bakery perimeter, SANY is betting it can capture incremental velocity from shoppers who would not self-select into the protein bar fixture.

The Product Pipeline

Beyond the Protein Crunch Bar, SANY is rolling out Crunch Pops — savory, chip-format protein bites in Chili & Lime, Caramelized Corn, and Nacho Cheddar, each 20-gram serving carrying 16 grams of protein — in October 2026. The broader pipeline spans five additional formats: Prookies (soft layered protein bites, 15g protein), Giant Clusters (caramel-chocolate protein clusters, 15g protein), Brittles (on-the-go bite-sized snacks, 7g protein), Fro-Bite (frozen real fruit coated in sugar-free protein chocolate, 4–6g protein), and Vitamin Splash (freeze-dried fruit in protein chocolate with 20 mg added vitamin C per serving, 4–6g protein). The variety of format, texture, and daypart signals an ambition to seed multiple planogram slots across snack, frozen, and natural/specialty channels as distribution expands.

Manufacturing Scale

SANY's Jonesboro facility anchors the commercial story. The plant combines European-American process technology with an annual production capacity of up to 500 million bars and bites — a figure that puts it in contention for significant private-label contract manufacturing alongside its own-brand business. The company's integrated platform covers custom formulation, regulatory and labeling support, ingredient sourcing, quality assurance, warehousing, and nationwide distribution, giving retail buyers a single-source option for indulgent protein innovation. The facility sits on land acquired to support future capacity expansion, and SANY has signaled interest in B2B food ingredients and functional pet snacks as longer-term pillars.

The brand's European heritage is a deliberate commercial differentiator. Prior to the U.S. launch, Beyond Resilience completed product launches in Europe and the Middle East, giving the platform tested formulations and a European sensibility for indulgence — speculoos cream, Biscoff-flavored bites, and freeze-dried tropical fruit formats — that stands apart from the typically utilitarian U.S. protein-bar set. "We are building SANY and Beyond Resilience for generations," said Angela Pernsteiner, founder and investor of SANY Nutrition Group. "Walmart and our online launch give consumers their first opportunity to experience what we have built, but this is only the beginning."

For category managers tracking the protein and performance nutrition space, the Walmart bakery placement is the immediate signal to watch. If scan data shows velocity lift in that section — a fixture that traditionally turns on indulgent impulse purchase rather than nutrition intent — it could accelerate conversations with other mass and grocery buyers about non-traditional cross-merchandising for high-protein formats. The snack bar and better-for-you segment has seen sustained growth as consumers trade up from candy and confection, making SANY's hybrid indulgence-plus-protein positioning well-timed for the current retail cycle.
