Rubbermaid has expanded its Brilliance food storage portfolio to include products made with Tritan Renew, a copolyester manufactured with certified recycled content using Eastman's recycling technology. The Brilliance line, originally launched in 2016, is known for clarity, durability, and performance in food storage. The new Tritan Renew offerings include rectangular and round food storage containers as well as pantry containers for dry goods, all featuring the brand's patented leakproof and microwave-safe lids. "Our continued collaboration with Eastman reflects a shared commitment to pushing what's possible in food storage," said Waylon Good, vice president of brand management for Rubbermaid food storage products. "By bringing Tritan Renew into Rubbermaid Brilliance products, we're able to combine performance, clarity and durability with thoughtful material innovation, so we can keep delivering products that make everyday food storage easier, better and more inspiring for consumers." Products made with Tritan Renew maintain the stain-, odor-, and shatter-resistance characteristics consumers expect from the Brilliance line. Rubbermaid selected the material as part of efforts to explore advanced materials that meet food-contact safety standards. Rubbermaid Brilliance containers with Tritan Renew entered the market in April 2026 and are available at major retailers. The company notes that clear components are made with new and recycled materials using a mass balance approach that allocates recycled material to each container; actual recycled content may be less than or none.
