Limited-Time Menu Tie-In Debuts Nationwide Pinkberry is rolling out two Supergirl-branded products ahead of the June 26 theatrical release of DC Studios' "Supergirl" film, marking the frozen yogurt chain's latest entertainment partnership.
The Supergirl Galactic Lemonade Frozen Yogurt combines tart frozen yogurt topped with strawberries, blueberry popping boba, and gold glitter. A companion beverage, Supergirl Galactic Lemonade, features iced lemonade layered with butterfly pea flower tea and finished with edible gold glitter. Both items are available at participating Pinkberry locations nationwide through July 23, 2026.
Marketing Push Includes Sweepstakes Pinkberry is running a sweepstakes contest offering prizes including a private screening of Supergirl, branded merchandise, and gift cards. Entrants can register online at pinkberry.com/supergirlsweeps through June 19, 2026.
The Partnership Rationale "We are honored that DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures have chosen Pinkberry as an official partner for the release of summer's hottest big screen adventure," said Melissa Hubbell, vice president of marketing for Kahala Brands, Pinkberry's parent company. "With our new Supergirl Galactic Lemonade Frozen Yogurt, we wanted to create a sweet treat that's adventurous like the Superhero herself. For fans craving the ultimate summer beverage, our Supergirl Galactic Lemonade is the perfect thirst-quenching combination of crisp iced lemonade with vibrant butterfly pea flower tea, finished with eye-catching gold glitter – making every sip a cosmic burst of flavor."
Pinkberry, which launched in Los Angeles in 2005, operates under Kahala Brands' portfolio of 30 quick-service restaurant brands with approximately 3,000 locations across 35 countries.
Why It Matters
Film-branded menu items have become a standard promotional tool for QSR chains seeking to capitalize on theatrical releases, particularly among younger demographics. This partnership expands Pinkberry's visibility during a competitive summer season and aligns with broader industry trends of cross-promotional agreements between entertainment studios and food operators.
