Nutiva has launched its Original Coconut Aminos at Costco clubs across Texas in refreshed packaging, priced at $9.99 for a 30 oz. bottle. The rollout marks the brand's consolidation of the Coconut Secret product line under the Nutiva name. The product positions itself as a soy-free alternative to traditional soy sauce, containing 72% less sodium than the leading competitor. It is certified organic, gluten-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified, and functions as a 1:1 substitute for conventional soy sauce in marinades, glazes, and dipping sauces. "We're excited to bring our elevated packaging to Costco shoppers across Texas," said Abby Stickney, Vice President of Marketing at Nutiva. "Welcoming Coconut Secret into the Nutiva family gave us the opportunity to modernize the design and more clearly communicate the benefits shoppers care about most, right on the front of the bottle — while preserving the same premium, clean-label recipe that flavor seekers know and love." Nutiva has retained the original formula unchanged during the rebrand, updating only the visual design and labeling. Beyond Texas Costco, the Original Coconut Aminos is available at Whole Foods Market, Target, Publix, Walmart, and Amazon nationwide.

Why It Matters

The placement at Costco signals retailers' growing confidence in coconut aminos as a mainstream pantry staple. For operators and meal-kit services, broader retail availability of soy-free, lower-sodium umami sources expands menu development options for health-conscious consumers and those with soy allergies.
