Monte's Fine Foods is introducing three new artisanal pasta shapes on July 14: Bozzolo, Stella, and Conchiglia. The pastas are made with organic durum semolina and water, are vegan and non-GMO.

Rooted in Italian-American Tradition The 120-year-old brand positions the launch around the leisurely pace and communal dining of an Italian summer holiday. "This summer, Monte's Fine Foods is introducing three new artisanal pasta shapes designed for gathering, entertaining, and celebrating the simple pleasures of summer," the company said. "Inspired by the leisurely pace and communal dining traditions of an Italian summer holiday, the collection encourages home cooks to slow down, savor authentic ingredients, and create meaningful moments around the table." The new shapes are intended for both casual weeknight meals and more formal occasions, with the brand targeting backyard gatherings, beach picnics, and al fresco dinners.

Merch Tie-In Along with the pasta launch, Monte's is releasing a limited-edition Pasta Beach merchandise collection drawing from vintage Italian beach culture and summer entertaining aesthetics. The collection includes crewnecks, tote bags, hats, and additional items.

Why It Matters

For specialty food retailers and foodservice operators, Monte's move reflects broader industry interest in elevated, locally-rooted pasta options and experiential brand extensions beyond the core product. The merchandise tie-in signals a strategy to build community and lifestyle positioning around what remains a commodity staple.
