Grimaldi's Pizzeria is bringing its restaurant recipes to home kitchens through a new retail partnership with Walmart. The brand has launched two 32 oz. pasta sauce varieties at the mass retailer, marking its entry into the packaged sauce category.

Product Details Both sauces are made with San Marzano-region tomatoes, fresh garlic, onion and extra virgin olive oil.

The Marinara is positioned as a classic all-purpose tomato sauce suitable for spaghetti, baked ziti and pizza. The Tomato Basil variant is described as lighter and fresher, recommended for spaghetti, lasagna and grilled vegetables. Both products are gluten-free, dairy-free, kosher and non-GMO, and contain no preservatives, additives, soy or canola oil. Pricing ranges from approximately $9.97–$10.97 per jar, varying by location.

Bridge-to-Restaurant Promotion Grimaldi's is pairing the retail launch with an incentive to drive traffic to its pizzeria locations. Through October 31, customers who purchase a jar at Walmart and present their receipt at a Grimaldi's restaurant location can redeem $10 off a dine-in or to-go order.

Why It Matters

The move reflects a broader trend of established restaurant brands extending into retail grocery to capture shelf space and reach consumers outside their physical footprint. For operators, co-branded retail products can serve as both a revenue stream and a marketing vehicle that keeps the brand visible between restaurant visits.
