Partnership Targets Back-to-School, On-the-Go Consumers Bumble Bee Seafoods is partnering with recipe creator and teacher Courtney Cook to promote Bumble Bee Snackers, a new line of single-serve, wild-caught tuna in flavored and classic varieties. The collaboration aims to position the 3-ounce cans as convenient protein for busy schedules—from lunch packing to post-workout snacks. Snackers come in four flavored options: Lemon Pepper, Thai Chili, Sweet Heat, and Hickory Smoke, plus classic tuna. The cans require no prep and retail nationwide at grocery stores and online through Amazon and other retailers. Cook, known for her approachable, pantry-staple-focused recipes on social media, said the partnership felt natural. "I've always believed the best recipes are the ones that celebrate your favorite ingredients and fit your real life," Cook said. "That's why this partnership with Bumble Bee felt so natural. Tuna has always been a pantry staple for me, and Snackers make it even easier to enjoy -- whether I'm throwing together a quick lunch, making something for my fam, or grabbing a snack in between everything else going on."
Tuna's Resurgence in Modern Routines The launch reflects broader consumer interest in tinned fish and savory snacking.
As consumers increasingly seek convenient, protein-rich foods that deliver value without compromising taste, tuna is regaining prominence in meal prep and pantry cooking. Dana Kowal, Senior Director of Marketing & Corporate Affairs at Bumble Bee Seafoods, positioned the "Bee You" campaign as celebrating diverse consumption occasions. "'Bee You' celebrates the idea that there's no one right way to enjoy tuna," Kowal said. "We created Bumble Bee SnackersT for today's on-the-go consumers who want bold flavors, quality protein and convenience. Courtney perfectly brings that philosophy to life because it reflects the way she cooks -- accessibly, creatively and with real people in mind. She shows that enjoying delicious, satisfying food can be simple."
Why It Matters
For operators and retailers, the Snackers line represents a strategic bet on the growing convenience and tinned-seafood segments, positioned to capture impulse buys and grab-and-go occasions. The creator partnership extends Bumble Bee's reach into social media–native audiences and family meal-planning contexts, potentially expanding distribution beyond traditional canned-fish aisles.
