BARI, positioning itself as America's first Asian baby food brand, is launching an 8-count variety pack of savory rice porridge pouches on Amazon and direct-to-consumer channels starting August 3. The debut lineup features four flavors: Shrimp Porridge, Kabocha Porridge, Root Veggie Porridge, and Korean Seaweed Porridge. Each pouch contains 5g of protein, no added sugar, and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. The porridges are prepared with vegetable broth and packaged in BPA-free, foil-free pouches designed for babies 9 months and older.

Differentiation in a Puree-Heavy Market Unlike most baby food pouches on the market, BARI's formulations prioritize texture and savory profiles over fruit-forward purees. "They're essentially meals that parents would eat, just adapted for little tummies," according to the brand. The approach aligns with emerging parent demand for early exposure to diverse, non-sweet flavors.

Supply Chain and Safety Bari sources rice directly from South Korea and conducts third-party testing for heavy metals, pesticides, toxins, and other contaminants. All ingredients are listed transparently on packaging. The timing of the launch coincides with heightened parent scrutiny around baby food safety and ingredient sourcing. The brand is offering pre-launch sampling and publisher-exclusive promotional codes.
